Since 1981, Clifton Packaging has been on a journey from a modest London wholesaler to one of the UK's most respected names in flexible packaging for the food industry.

Today, from our Leicester base, we design and manufacture high-performance films and pouches for some of the most demanding food categories. With in-house capabilities spanning design, printing, laminating, slitting and pouch conversion, including machinery integration, we offer brands a genuinely end-to-end solution under one roof.
And now, as part of the CartonPack Group, we combine our deep flexible packaging expertise with the scale, capacity and multi-material capabilities of a pan-European leader. The History of Clifton Packaging
1980
Clifton began as a small wholesaler of paper bags and plain bags for retail outlets. A passion for packaging and a focus on quality laid the foundation for the future.
1981
The company began to focus on the production of flexible packaging, developing specific expertise in the snacks, confectionery, and FMCG sectors.
1990
Introduction of new technologies and production processes, with a focus on sustainability and improved product performance.
2000
Clifton consolidated its presence in Europe, becoming a reliable partner for customers in several countries and expanding its range of packaging solutions.
2010
The company’s commitment to quality and innovation was rewarded with regional, national, and international recognition.
Today
